Possible Health Benefits of Shakes and Frappes

When Bulgarians say “let’s go for a coffee”, it is likely that the coffee they will drink will be frappe, which is probably the national drink of the Bulgarians in summer.

Instant coffee, with which frappe is made, has two very beneficial properties for your body. We make frappes with instant coffee. Few people know this. It has much less caffeine. If they knew, then they might be drinking more frappes, especially in the summer when, the coffee is ice-cold, thick like velvet and delicious.

And if you have problems with your cholesterol, then you may need to drink frappe!

Instant coffee frappe and cholesterol

Instant coffee is less caffeinated than Bulgarian coffee, or Greek coffee, according to the Department of Nutrition at Harvard School of Public Health. Caffeine is a substance that can increase cholesterol. If you already have high cholesterol or a family history of heart disease, instant coffee is a better choice than French or Greek coffee.

Instant frappe coffee has a lower caffeine content than other types of coffee. This is not true for all brands, but if you read the labels, you can find instant coffee with just 27 mg of caffeine per serving. One serving is usually 1 tsp. A cup of other types of coffee has at least 95 mg of caffeine.
