Arbanashki Han Tavern / Summer Garden

This is our favourite restaurant in Arbanasi. The food is consistently good and the garden is beautifully shaded in summer. The grilled fish is wonderful and the salads and wine list are super.

Primo Gusto – Villa Arbanashki Han

This restaurant is up the hill behind Arbanashki Han. It is Italian, so this is not the place to find traditional Bulgarian food, but if you want delicious, home-prepared antipasti, pasta or pizza it is divine!

Izvora Restaurant

For traditional Bulgarian food, Izvora is a great choice of restaurant. The menu is large and includes a great range of speciality dishes. The garden is shaded and is a lovely place to enjoy your meal during the summer months.

Park Hotel Sevasekrator

This is probably the restaurant that we visit most often in Arbanasi. We simply love its location. The views from the terrace are amazing. The food is good too. We recommend Sevasekrator to all our friends and family who visit.

Reste Bar & Dinner

This is a new restaurant that has opened next to Sevasekrator. It shares the same magnificent view, but has a different vibe than Sevasekrator. The menu is still developing, but every dish we have had has been tasty here.

Mehana Payak

The restaurants in the centre are also good. We particularly like Mehana Payak (Механа Паяк) The food is delicious and the staff are attentive.

Other restaurants worth a mention are Cheshmata in the centre and Bolyarsko Selo. Bolyarksko Selo has a wonderful view across the mountains too. If you are staying at the campsite and you want to go, you can ask the receptionist to book you a table if you want to try it out.
