Whilst you stay at Camping Veliko Tarnovo, you should visit Dryanovo Cave. It is cool inside the cave system and is a perfect activity for a hot afternoon. It is 300m from Dryanovo Monastery & Ecotrail. Also there is a traditional restuarant on the river bank which sells delicious specialities such as ‘Mish-Mash’and Kavarma. This is Restaurant Andanka.

Dryanovo Cave is a maze of galleries and branches. Over time water flowing through the cave, formed the cave galleries and halls. This was the initial period of the cave formation. The effect of water on the limestone rocks has, gradually sculpted the beautiful cave forms; stalagmites and stalactites giving them various bizarre shapes. Click here to see more information.

The impressive lights offer to visitors the chance to see these strange forms of nature with names given by human imagination: The Rain Hall with the Stone flower, the Willows, the Lake of Happiness and the Concert Hall which is 18m above the entrance and has excellent acoustics for any singers who visit.
