The Multimedia Museum brings history to life in a fun way. It makes history accessible for all the family.

The Multimedia Musuem is near Tsaravets Fortress, so you can easily visit both in one morning. This museum recreates the lives of a broad range of social layers in medieval Bulgarian history.

There are famous sculptures, paintings and models. Each represents historical figures and events from the Second Bulgarian Kingdom. The waxworks show the lives of monarchs, clergy, warriors and craftsmen. They are all shown in a working environment. There is a re-enactment of a coronation. There are 5 interactive boards and a film studio with films repeating regularly. This is unique museum in the Balkans.

How to get there?

You can self-drive. There is a great place to park close to Tsaravets. Alternatively, ask us to book you a taxi from reception. You can check out one of the fabulous restaurants in Veliko Tarnovo without worrying about driving home.
