In fact, rainbows are common at Camping Veliko Tarnovo. In Spring when the showers come, they are a frequent sight.

When can you see a rainbow? Well, you need to stand with your back to the sun and look towards the rain. The lower the sun is in the sky, the stronger the rainbow will appear, so keep looking out just before sunset for the best rainbows.

We often see double rainbows. They usually last for between 10 and 20 minutes, but a record-breaking rainbow in Taiwan lasted for more than 8 hours.
