Hotel Banyata in Lyaskovets offers hotel accommodation, coffee shop and restaurant. The hotel was converted from the public bathhouse many years ago. The name translated literally means “the bath”. It is only 6 Km from the campsite so great to pop out to if you just want a quick evening meal. You can dine outdoors in the summer or in the Mexana, an indoor downstairs room that is warm in winter. The menu is based around Bulgarian traditional recipes.
Also a nice place to enjoy a cup of coffee in their gardens if you are waiting for the bus into Veliko Tarnovo as it is opposite the bus stop for the Number 14 bus.
They have a website that you can check out here. They do not take debit cards, so you can go to the cash machine close by at DSK Bank or on the side of the food store on the municipal square, before the restaurant on the same side of the road.
If you want to take a taxi to the restaurant the price is approximately 7 Euros each way. We can book one for you at Reception. Remember to pick up your Taxi Home Card too to make the journey home go smoothly.
