Kaufland is easy to drive to and the parking is suitable for a motorhome. The store is large and stocks a great range of Bulgarian and international products. The fruit and vegetables are great quality and there is a super meat section at the back of the store.

Lidl Veliko Tarnovo

There are two Lidl stores to chose from in Veliko Tarnovo. Both are the same in layout and stocking profile. They sell freshly baked bread and pastries. Both also have a great selection of fresh fruit and vegetables.

The first one is very close to Kaufland. Parking is great for a car, but there isn’t a lot of space for a motorhome, especially at the second one.

Big Stores in Veliko Tarnovo

Close to Kaufland there is a small Retail Park with some great stores. Here you can find all DIY, sports and home products.

Praktiker

Praktiker is a great hardware and Do-it-yourself shop. It has electrical parts, water connectors, paints and lacquers, furniture, BBQs and it sells camping equipment. You can see much more on their website. Praktiker is a short walk from Kaufland too!

Supermarkets in Gorna Oryahovitsa

Kaufland

Gorna Oryahovitsa is a bit closer than Veliko Tarnovo. The parking is good, so you can take your motorhome if you need to. This store is a little smaller than the Veliko Tarnovo store, but you will find a huge range of food and drink here. The store has its own bakery and a fresh meat counter.

Lidl Gorna Oryhovitsa

The Lidl store here is the same as those in Veliko Tarnovo. It has a bakery and a great selection of fresh fruit and vegetables. The car park is open and accessible for large vehicles.

If you would like to go by taxi, please ask at Reception.

In Dragizhevo village there are good food shops and a hardware store. There are also fruit markets and pharmacies and chemists within 10km of the campsite. The biggest local shopping centre is in Veliko Tarnovo.
